Excerpt from the Diary of St. Faustina:
In the evening, I went in for a long talk with the Lord Jesus. … I poured out my whole heart before Him, all my troubles, fears and apprehensions. Jesus lovingly listened to me and then said, Be at peace, My child, I am with you (Diary – 1674).
Dear Jesus, how often I forget to speak with You! Here You are, with me all the time. You’re in my heart and pervade my being, and Your beauty fills the earth. So why do I so often forget You? Well, You don’t forget me. You’re still here, right now. Thank You for listening. Now I want to listen to You. Speak Your words of peace to my soul.
